About BENBULLEN SPECKLE PARK MEATS

Welcome to Benbullen Farms, established in 2017 we are family owned and operated, with our home farm located in picturesque town of Boisdale in Central Gippsland and traditional lands of the Gunai/Kurnai people.

We are dedicated to raising high-quality cattle that are both productive and environmentally sustainable. We specialise in breeding and finishing of Speckle Park cattle, a breed known for its superior meat quality, adaptability, and docile temperament.

Our farm is located just a stone's throw away from our hospo venue Maffco Brewery and Distillery and farm to fork restaurant TUCKA@Maffco. We are driven by our passion for the paddock-to-plate concept. This has led us to establish a commercial and stud herd of Speckle Park cattle and focus on sustainability and traceability.

Who is Benbullen Speckle Park Meats

Our story begins with Nicky’s passion for farming, she has previously dairy farmed in the local area, has set up her own livestock business and is also a rebate agent for Elders. We eventually decided to utilise the Boisdale farm to establish a beef herd.

The teacher, Lashay, is passionate about teaching and learning and after visiting Hanging Rock Winery to investigate their farm for a class, we decided to investigate the speckle park breed more and eventually committed to establishing our own herd.
